Samsung Galaxy A8S - no more notch?

2018 will go down as the year of the notch for smartphone users with many companies aping Apple’s late 2017 release of the iPhone X. Love them or hate them it seems like Samsung may be the first company to try and eliminate the notch once and for all with the upcoming arrival of their Galaxy A8s which was teased this week towards the end of another handset launch for the company. What has our interest peaked so much for the Galaxy A8s is that if the rumours are true it will be the first phone of its kind to feature an all screen front with just a small hole in the upper left corner of the display to house its camera. This may be the first look at what the future of mobile display has to offer and we will keep you posted as we learn more.

New Apple products on the way?

The Apple iPhone XR has launched today nationwide (make sure to check it out on our website or in-store) and already Apple is gearing up for its next big event on October 30th. Don’t worry, no new iPhones are due for release! Instead according to the notorious Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo we will be treated to a new iPad Pro and Macbook range as well as the possibility of updated AirPods and the AirPower wireless charging mat we were promised last year. Fingers crossed we see these accessories next week to go along with your current apple devices.

Samsung Galaxy S10 Rumours

Samsung’s newest flagship the S10, expected in Spring 2019, will be a trio of handsets this year as confirmed by company insiders to Bloomberg. The Galaxy S10 line-up supposedly will consist of an entry-level model (Most likely a reaction to Apple’s ‘entry-level’ iPhone XR ) along with a premium and plus sized version we have become accustomed too since the Galaxy S8 launch. What is most interesting is the features of these two handsets with insiders hinting at a triple camera setup (which would incorporate a wide angle lens), an in-screen finger scanner along with what may be the worlds first under display selfie camera. We cannot wait to see the future of Galaxy and will post more as we learn it.
