Sky Go is available on any two devices for free. Available to all SKY TV customers as a free add on, Sky Go allows you to watch live TV on two additional connected devices, over a 4G or WiFi connection.
The content that is available is dependent on what packages you have signed in to, so if you have Sky Sports as part of your deal, you can access all of the Sky Sports channels on your laptop, smartphone or tablet for free. Set up is easy and can be done here.
UPC Horizon app
Not to be outdone by Sky, UPC also have a free add on available for watching live TV ... without an TV.
The Horizon app gives you access to up to 48 channels when outside your home through your laptop or tablet. It will also allow you to set reminders for programs, use you tablet as a remote control while at home, and share what you're watching through Facebook.
Missed out on the latest episode of Game of Thrones? Can't decide between Coronation Street and True Detective? Catch Up service is another free add from UPC and Sky that allows you to watch programs after they have been aired on TV, subject to your subscription. UPC keep their shows active for seven days after they have been aired, while Sky have a 30-day window to catch up on that latest episode of Boardwalk Empire.
On Demand is a free add on that is available from both SKY and UPC, and gives the user access to a library of content at the touch of a button.
TV series box sets, movies, kids programmes, replays of sporting events, are all available on demand through your Sky+ box or UPC Horizon hub.
