It may seem like the latest iPhone has just been released – because it has, just last month – but the rumour mill is turning again with news that Apple may release a new 4-inch iPhone as early as June 2016.

KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has long been well-respected and reliable for his Apple rumours and now, as reported on macrumors.com, Kuo believes Apple will release a new 4-inch iPhone in the first half of next year that "resembles an upgraded iPhone 5s".

Kuo also believes this new iPhone will not include 3D Touch support so as not to take the appetite away from the 6s and 6s Plus, and we suspect the iPhone 7 later in 2016.

In relation to iPhone 7 rumours, Kuo has little to report as of yet, however he does expect the iPhone 7 will ship with a new A10 chip to offer increased performance, and the iPhone 7 Plus will receive a significant boost in RAM.

More rumours about new releases as we get it.
